2020 Open Tryouts

Sentinels Lacrosse Club is Saskatchewan’s Number 1 Elite Field Lacrosse Program and is looking for players who desire to take their game to the highest level. Training is based out of Saskatoon, SK and the program is looking for the most talented players from across the prairies. Out of town players will have special arrangements in place that will be further discussed upon acceptance into the program.

Team participation is focused on athletic and skill development, with a special focus on improving player understanding (both individually and team play) of the sport of Field Lacrosse. Selected players will be invited to take part in a rigorous and competitive training program along with opportunities for competition within Canada. 

Commitments include:

-meeting high expectations both on and off the field

-pursuing academic success and persevering through challenges

-outdoor/indoor practices (September-December 2020)

-agility and weight training at Ignite Athletics (August-December 2020)

-attending a tournament and other exhibition play within Canada (TBD)

This year the program is expanding and is excited to introduce both Junior Varsity and Varsity teams! 

Eligible Junior Varsity Players: Athletes that graduate high school in the year 2023, 2024 and 2025

Eligible Varsity Players: Athletes that graduate high school in the year 2021 and 2022

All players will receive a total of four hours of evaluation time. Players that are invited to be a part of the program will be contacted by email or phone. The coaching staff hopes to see Saskatchewan’s elite lacrosse players present for two hard sessions of high-level competition.
