Our AGM date has changed and we are fast approaching the March 24th 1:30pm via teams meeting. To help us gear up for the 2024 season we are looking for help.
Board positions needing to be filled
Division coordinators... U7, U9, U11, U13, U15, U17, U21
1 year term
- Oversee the organization of teams being picked
- Jersey handout at the beginning of the season
- Jersey return and inventory at the end of the season
- organize volunteers for field set up, take down, score sheet, clock and locking up at the end of the night.
- Attended once a month board meeting to help plan the future of field lacrosse and the AGM.
Director of Aboriginal/ Indigenous Development to...
2 year term
-Attended once a month board meeting to help plan the future of field lacrosse and the AGM.
- Provide input into the development of lacrosse within the Indigenous community.
- Communicate with the Indigenous communities in and around Saskatoon to help further field lacrosse.
- Provide support to member.
- Facilitate the development of cultural sensitivity and awareness at all levels within the lacrosse community.
- Help to increasing the number of Indigenous people involved in the sport of lacrosse at
the grassroots level and developing high performance athletes/coaches/officials of Indigenous ancestry in Saskatoon.
- Take a role in determining some long terms goals and projections for Indigenous involvement.
Vice president
2 year term
-Oversee monthly meetings
-Fills out paperwork
-Make sure we are running in compliance with SLA.
-Monitors progress of all committees and aligns their work with organizational mission and goals.
-Tracking organizational progress and evaluating the completion of established goals. This usually involves a full assessment of organizational needs, reviewing financial statements and digging deeper into community needs. Regular assessment and evaluation assist the governing board in long-range planning.
-Strategic planning. In consultation with the executive director and board members, the board president sets short- and long-term goals to ensure the organization is mission-centered and outcome-oriented.
Attend monthly meetings

2 year term
-Take minutes in meetings
-Keep copy of ALL past minutes and reports.
-Letting people know when and where the next meeting is and what it's about.
-Helping to prepare the agenda for the meeting with the President and vice President.
-Writing mass emails to be sent out to members
-Organize any fundraising events
-Attend monthly meetings
Coaching Coordinator
1 year term
-Organize coach training and education each year.
-Make sure all coaches are certified with Sask lacrosse
-Make sure all coaches are registered on Ramp
-Assign coaches to a team's and find replacements if they can't make the game.
-Assist coaches who are looking for help.
-Attend monthly meetings
